Hello everyone! I’m Ethan Li, and my executive team and I welcome you to TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS, an event crafted by students, teachers, and educators to spread ideas in our local community! I am a high school junior at Iroquois Ridge High School, in Grade 11 in the current 2020/2021 school year. Working in affiliation with TEDx and with our spectacular executive team has been an extremely rewarding experience with an inspiring final goal. I started TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS because I believe in the ideas and stories that can be broadcast via such a world-renowned platform, and show the world that local should not mean inconsequential. Hey Everyone! My name is Jaiden Ratti and I am in Grade 11 at IRHS. I’m super excited to be on the TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS executive team this year. I am looking forward to leveraging my technical skills and working with the rest of the team to make this event the best it can be! I firmly believe that youth have the ideas and potential to change the world, they just need a platform to do so. Can’t wait to hear all the unique and innovative ideas presented by youth in our community!
Head of Volunteering
Hello! My name is Navya Vyas, and I’m excited to be TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS’s Head of Volunteering this year. I’m a Grade 11 student at Iroquois Ridge High School, and I’m thrilled to be on the team. I decided to apply in hopes of receiving the opportunity to share my ideas and collaborate with like-minded peers. I also wanted to play a larger part in the creation of an event catered to celebrating the ideas of youth in the Halton community. Joining TEDx has been an amazing experience so far and I’m looking forward to hearing the visionary ideas of our student speakers!

Hi! My name is Pauline Lee, and I am the Event Manager for the TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS event this year! I am a Grade 11 student at IRHS, and am super excited to be a part of the 2020/2021 executive team! I joined the TEDx organizational team because I wanted to help create a platform that encourages and enables youth to share their thoughts and experiences. Hi my name is Anuraj Shah and I am a Grade 11 student at Iroquois Ridge High School! For TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS this year, I am excited to be the Communications Lead! I joined the TEDx team because I wanted to help provide an opportunity for youth to share their perspective on some of the problems they see in the world. Hi! My name is Nicole Harris and I am a Grade 12 student at Iroquois Ridge High School. I am a part of the event organization team, and I am so excited to help bring you TEDx this year at IRHS! I can’t wait to get to know all of our student speakers and help them bring their talks to life at our big event. I hope all of you reading this consider applying to be a student speaker and get involved in this incredible event! I am so glad that despite the restrictions on clubs and extracurriculars as a result of COVID, I am still able to be a part of something that will have an impact on the school.

Hey there, I’m Rasoul Kailani, an ambitious student in Grade 12, and I look forward to using my skills to put on an amazing event never seen in Iroquois Ridge High School before. As the Editorial Lead of TEDxIroqouisRidgeHS, I am willing to help build up this idea because I want to give the bright young minds of our school and community a platform. Hello everyone, my name is Ernest Wang and I am a Grade 11 student at Iroquois Ridge High School. I am the Video and Production Lead at TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS this year, and I hope to use my skills while working with the team to organize this impactful event. In my opinion, this event provides an excellent opportunity for students to inspire and be inspired by others while discussing their own perspectives and ideas. Hello! My name is Gurisha Sahni, and I am a Grade 11 student at Iroquois Ridge High School. I am incredibly excited to be a part of the TEDxIroquoisRidgeHS team as the Executive of External Affairs! I am ecstatic to play a role in an event that enables youth to inspire growth and discuss their experiences, as I firmly believe that youth voices deserve to be heard.
